Industry Recognition

MCS was recently identified as a “top performer” and “innovator” in the InvestmentNews 2013 Adviser Technology Study. Our firm was selected from 331 respondents to a February survey of technology use and performance metrics, and we were even featured on the “Advice from Top Performers” chapter of the report.
Our firm leads in technology not for technology’s sake, but to improve your experience as a client and to allow Michael, Kath, and me to keep better track of what is going on in your lives. Leveraging technology allows us to spend more time with client relationships and less time on mundane tasks that do not add value to our service.
In April, Michael earned a Certificate in Financial Management for the Family Office from the executive education program at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. A “family office” is a business set up by a family to comprehensively manage their wealth and the challenges and opportunities that go with it. The goal was to understand how ultra-wealthy families ($100 million and up) handle their wealth-related matters and to identify the types of services that would make sense for MCS clients. MCS already offers many family office services including investment management, financial planning for family members, estate plan review/illustration, insurance review, key document retention, and advice on charitable giving.
